Its fun participating in giveaways and challenges. And in one such of giveaways, I won a few pattern papers. So as a token of thanks I had made the following card..
I used Kraft cardstock as the card base. I had bought a corner flower bunch stamp recently from Micheals.. I loved playing with that. The flowers are so beautiful. It can be used without coloring the way I did for this card or can even fill it with wonderful colors.. Then I embellished the card with punched butterflies and a ribbon bought from Target.

Embossed Thank You Card
We had got lots of gifts during a party last month. I was creating Thank You card for the gifts we received. Well now I know I should always have a bundle of thank you cards ready :) . Here is one of the card I created:
I first heat embossed flower stamp using white embossing powder a few times. The stamp was from the dollar bins of Micheals. Then used the broken china distress ink for the background color. Then Iembossed the same flower stamp and a butterfly stamp two times, this time with black embossing powder. Colores the images using distress ink and fuzzy cut the images. Used foam adhesives to o u the handcut images. Used hero arts "Thank You" stamp for the sentiment. Using a black marker gave faux stitches.
