Embossed Thank You Card

We had got lots of gifts during a party last month. I was creating Thank You card for the gifts we received. Well now I know I should always have a bundle of thank you cards ready :) . Here is one of the card I created:

I first heat embossed flower stamp using white embossing powder a few times. The stamp was from the dollar bins of Micheals. Then used the broken china distress ink for the background color. Then Iembossed the same flower stamp and a butterfly stamp two times, this time with black embossing powder. Colores the images using distress ink and fuzzy cut the images. Used foam adhesives to o u the handcut images. Used hero arts "Thank You" stamp for the sentiment. Using a black marker gave faux stitches.

I'm entering this card to the following challenges:

  1. Great card! I love how you created the background with the flowers and used the same flowers as a focal point on your card! Thanks for joining us for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge!

  2. Beautiful card with great techniques!

Thanks for joining in the WOW! Embossing Powder March Challenge and good luck!

  3. Beautiful card and an interesting technique to use the same stamp in different layers! Thanks for taking the time to explain how you made it. I'll have to get me some white embossing powder soon cause this is something I'd like to try!
